Dr. Kaplan is a Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina, in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Kaplan is a recognized expert in the fields of allergy and immunology and, among many distinctions, is a past president of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology, the Clinical Immunology Society and the World Allergy Organization. He has also authored over 300 books and articles in the field of immunology.
